What should I check before playing after a Valorant patch?

Guide Q&A

Check buyvalorantcheats.net and Discord #status before you load. After a Vanguard update, download the latest portal build and verify in custom or Unrated—not ranked first.

If overlays misbehave, stop and wait for a compatible build rather than forcing an old loader.

Guide answer

Quick Unrated test after patches saved me from loading a broken preset.

Guide answer

If status says Updating, wait. The checklist is there for a reason.
